MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) panels are made of wood fibers hot pressed with glue and resin with low formaldehyde content. The panels are divided into three categories based on the density of the fibers: LDF (low density), MDF (medium density) and HDF (high density).
The wood used to make the fiber panels (FSC® certified) can be virgin wood or recycled wood, completely recyclable and customizable via matt or glossy lacquering.
The dimensional stability, the homogeneous composition, the uniform colour, the smooth surface and the absence of veins make MDF/HDF panels an easy-to-work carpentry material. For these reasons they are panels often used in the creation of interior furnishings.
